Robert M. Connelly concentrates his practice in land use and municipal law. He currently serves as the attorney to the Sag Harbor Village Board of Historic Preservation and Architectural Review. He previously served as an Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of East Hampton. As an Assistant Town Attorney, he served as counsel to both the Zoning Board of Appeals and Architectural Review Board. He was also responsible for the prosecution of violations of the East Hampton Town Code. He started his legal career with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, he was responsible for the prosecution of felonies and misdemeanors and was assigned to the Economic Crimes Bureau, Case Advisory Bureau, East End Bureau and District Court Bureau. He lives on the North Fork with his wife and children.
